Approach International Student Center was founded in 2005 by Michelle Fernandes, a visionary entrepreneur that had a passion for creating life-changing opportunities for people. Driven by a deep understanding of the challenges faced by international students, Michelle set out to create a unique learning experience. What began as a small, dedicated team of ESL teachers has grown into a thriving hub of international students that has transformed the lives of countless people from around the world.
Approach has achieved numerous milestones and overcame challenges to become a leader in international education. In 2008, the school established partnerships with more than 10 colleges, providing students with a pathway to higher education. In 2014, Approach earned accreditation from ACCET, enabling the school to issue F1 visas and welcome students from even more countries.
The school's commitment to excellence was recognized in 2018 when it was named a TOP 500 English school by SEVIS (Immigration System). In 2019, Approach expanded its reach by opening a second campus in Marlborough, MA.
Today, Approach is well on its way to achieving its goal of becoming one of the TOP 10 largest English schools in the United States by 2024, a testament to the dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment of its founder, faculty, and staff.
